Bricelyn
Bricelyn attends Appalachian State College in N.C and has a 10 year old Wrimaraner pup named Tobie. She was a competitive swimmer for 10 years and loves getting ice cream with friends and wearing matching pajama sets (especially during her long hospital stays).
Bricelyn has an osteosarcoma tumor in her L3 vertebrae. Her treatment plan involves surgery and a 30 days in the hospital post-op. She will undergo chemotherapy treatment for 20+ weeks when her neurosurgeon says it is safe to do so. Bricelyn’s mom knows that the care at Duke University hospital is the best, and they will have to drive 2.5 hours from home for treatment. Fortunately, her mom has a friend in Chapel Hill and she will live there while Bricelyn is in the hospital.
JUST TRYAN IT provided Bricelyn’s family with an emergency relief grant to assist with their mortgage payment.
