JoJo
Jojo is an amazing, happy kid who is always smiling and keeps his family going. He loves animals, the outdoors, making new friends, and dancing. In 2018, at only 1 year old, he was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma. Jojo has been fighting for over 6 years and he just keeps beating it! Joel’s family received an Emergency Assistance grant from JUST TRYAN It. They used the money to help pay their rent. Jojo was the Face of the Race at the 2025 Chapel Hill Kids Triathlon. He brought smiles and energy to both the dance party and the finish line. Jojo’s mom spoke beautifully during the Opening Ceremonies.
