Kennedy is a sweet, sassy, energetic, and happy girl. She is a wild child with a love for life. She loves playing outside, swings, bike rides, picnics at the park, pb&j sandwiches, dancing, singing, Disney Princesses, and making others laugh. Kennedy lives at home with her parents and sister, who is her absolute best friend.

In November 2020, Kennedy was diagnosed with ALL at age 2. After Kennedy’s diagnosis, both her parents used FMLA to take Kennedy to her weekly treatments, this resulted in a significant loss of income. JUST TRYAN IT funded a grant to assist with their mortgage and auto payment.

Kennedy completed treatment and is in remission. She will be monitored for life for recurrence, but most people don’t know she had Leukemia. Her mom says that “some days it feels like it was yesterday and others it feels like an entire life ago.” Kennedy has continued to attack life with her spunky attitude and humor. Her family is forever grateful for the community and support they received from JUST TRYAN IT. Kennedy was the Bethesda Face of the Race in 2021.
